Former WWE star Kharma -- aka Awesome Kong in TNA -- has wrestled her last match in Japan ... but Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned that doesn't mean she's retiring from the ring just yet.

Over the weekend, a Japanese report announced Kharma would be retiring from wrestling after a doctor advised her to give it up due to health issues -- however, we're told that's not quite the case.

Sources close to the wrestler say her contract with TNA ends in January. If she's not happy with any deal offered, Kharma may possibly hang up her boots and start working on a new career. Until that time comes though, the 38 year-old will still be wrestling stateside.

Kharma tells us, "Amazing Kong (her ring name in Japan) is retired from wrestling, but Awesome Kong has further obligations to attend."

Got someone you'd like to see her wrestle still? Let us know on Facebook.
