WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Blackjack Mulligan has passed away at the age of 73, just weeks after he was hospitalized while trying to pass blood clots.

The wrestling company confirmed Mulligan's passing on their website Thursday ... adding, "WWE extends its sincerest condolences to Windham’s family, friends and colleagues."

As we previously reported, Mulligan was hospitalized in February and on Facebook said he was trying to pass blood clots.  His grandsons, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, subsequently missed RAW to be by his side.  Same goes for their father/WWE road agent, Mike Rotunda.

R.I.P. Blackjack.
